Springbrook Delta Waters Road Alignment

There's no question that where Springbrook Road crosses and jogs across Cedar Links Drive that it is a very dangerous intersection.

Al Desnmore has been hard at work seeking funding for improvements and realignment of this intersection. This project was originally planned to be implemented in the mid 1990s, but was superseded by the residents in the Lone Pine Road area asking for their street improvement to take priority.

This project is now on the medium-range list of the city's Transportation System Plan, meaning it should be completed between 2009 and 2013. The city owns two houses in that area that will be removed when the improvements take place.

It is anticipated that the realignment project and the widening of Springbrook Road to three lanes from Delta Waters to Cedar Links will total $1.8 million.
